At some point, all students enrolled at King George High School will take Econ & Personal Finance (a course required for graduation at KGHS). If you are on this page, it is likely that I am lucky enough to have you taking it with me!
In EPF at KGHS, all teachers teach from the same instructional plans where students explore many facets of financial decision-making involved in daily life. This is great because we have an award winning curriculum that teaches student skills in money management, record keeping, banking and more. Instruction is enhanced through the study of basic concepts of economics, insurance, credit, and other related topics. The course will also prepare students to think about their future career paths...to plan, manage, and analyze the financial aspects and success of business enterprises, banking institutions, or other organizations. This class culminates with the W!SE Financial Literacy Exam that fulfills graduation requirements for the standard diploma. Click on the picture to find out more.
